This green campus would use a variety of non-fossil fuel energy sources such as solar panels, windmills and other platforms that would power the housing and transportation. The new QI City would also have shopping outlets, parks and all the fun features you would find in a regular municipality.

Vijay Eswaran was born to a government worker and school teacher in Malaysia and learned quite a bit about spiritualism and generosity. It was his father who he admired the most, and when he later went into business he started the Vijayratnam Foundation in his honor.

Vijay Eswaran graduated from the London School of Economics with a B.S. in socioeconomics, and then completed graduate school with an MBA at Southern Illinois University. He was a consultant for several IT-based companies for a few years after graduating, and then he turned his interest to multilevel marketing and direct selling.

In 1998 Vijay Eswaran moved back to Malaysia and formed a team of businessmen who started what would become a major direct selling enterprise. He named the company QI Group Ltd. and placed its headquarters in Hong Kong.

QI Group sells household products, cosmetics supplies, and health products primarily through QNet and its independent resellers. But it’s also the parent company of QI Asset Management and QI University at Perak. Eswaran has also led philanthropy through QI Group’s RYTHM Foundation and the Vijayratnam Foundation.

Eswaran has given a lot of speeches and lectures on business and spiritualism. He believes spiritualism and practicing listening and dieting rituals can help people in the workplace become more focused and have better morale.

His bestselling book is “In The Sphere Of Silence” published in 2005. He’s also been featured in the 2011 Forbes Asia Heroes of Philanthropy list, and is the recipient of the New Global Indian award.
